Events

A commercial economic meeting focused on knowledge based exports and aimed at exploring trade opportunities between Iran and Austria was held in collaboration with the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce and the World Studies Center of the University of Tehran at the University of Tehran. At this meeting, Dr. Nariman Sadri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Darman Ara Company, delivered a speech on examining trade relations with Europe in the pharmaceutical sector. Dr. Hossein Ahmadi, former Technology and Innovation Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Iran Embassy in Vienna, presented remarks on technological relations between Iran and Austria. Dr. Vatan Khah, former head of the Center for Development and Progress Cooperation, Dr. Ayanbed, Secretary General of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Behzad Ahmadi, Director of the North America and Europe Studies Center at the University of Tehran, also discussed the challenges and opportunities in trade relations between the two countries. During the session, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce and the Europe and North America Studies Center of the University of Tehran.
