On the afternoon of Wednesday, July 10, 2024 (Tir 20, 1403), the Annual Ordinary General Assembly and Extraordinary General Assembly of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce were held with the presence of the Board of Directors and members of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce.
This meeting, which was attended by a majority of eligible members, also featured distinguished guests, including Mr. Winkler, the Economic Counselor of Austria; Mr. Firouzi, Director General of the Europe and America Office of the Trade Development Organization; and Mr. Nasser Riyahi, Honorary President of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce, who delivered speeches.
After the formal recognition of the assembly, by majority vote, Mr. Nariman Sadri was elected as the Chairman of the Assembly, while Mr. Alireza Nazemolraei and Mr. Amirreza Sofinezhad were appointed as the two auditors of the assembly.
According to the announced minutes of the meeting, the following items were presented, reviewed, and approved:
- Presentation and approval of the Board of Directors' performance report regarding the activities of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce in the year 1402.
- Presentation and approval of the financial statements for the year 1402 by the Treasurer.
- Presentation and approval of the official auditor's report.
- Review and approval of the balance sheet.
- Review and approval of the proposed annual budget.
- Determination and confirmation of the entrance fee for new members and the annual membership fee until the end of 1403 and from the beginning of 1404.
- Selection and confirmation of the independent auditor.
- Determination and confirmation of a widely circulated newspaper for publishing the Chamber’s advertisements and announcements.
- Election of the main inspector and alternate inspector.
Additionally, according to the announced minutes of the Extraordinary General Assembly, the following item was presented, reviewed, and approved:
Extension of the term of the Board of Directors from 2 years to 3 years, in line with the amendment of Article 25 of the Iran-Austria Joint Chamber of Commerce’s charter, which was approved by a majority vote.
